This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on autoexperience.uk. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR, non-essential cookies (including analytics) require your consent.

Essential cookies

These are needed for the site to work and do not require consent. Examples: language preference (NEXT_LOCALE), staff session cookie on /admin (ae_session), and your cookie choice stored locally so we remember Accept or Reject.

Analytics cookies (optional)

If you choose “Accept analytics”, we grant analytics_storage via Google Consent Mode v2 for Google Analytics 4 (gtag.js, measurement ID G-L9HBGZ115S). Until then analytics_storage stays denied, so Google should not set analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*). We enable IP anonymisation. Ads storage stays denied.

How to manage cookies

Use Cookie settings in the website footer to reopen the banner and Accept or Reject analytics. You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser. Rejecting analytics does not affect booking or contacting us.

Third parties

Google LLC processes analytics data when consent is given. See Google’s privacy documentation for more detail. Embedded maps or external links (for example Google Maps) are governed by those providers when you use them.
